On the work
I trained at The Catholic University of Korea, College of Medicine, and completed my plastic surgery residency at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital. I currently practice as Chief Doctor at Sketch Plastic Surgery in Gangnam. My focus is eyelid surgery, facelift, and body contouring.
Facial surgery is less about addition than about proportion. The operating room teaches you to read the structure that's already there before you decide what to change — the result that lasts is the one that looks like it was always the patient's own.
I served on the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons' research committee and received the society's Best Paper award in 2022. I write here about what that work — and the operating room — teaches that a brochure cannot.
