Frequently Asked Questions
Eyes
When does the swelling go down after Double Eyelid Surgery?
Most of the major swelling subsides within a week, and it takes about a month to look natural. Applying an ice pack for the first three days has the biggest impact on your recovery.
When are the stitches removed?
They are usually removed 5 to 7 days after surgery. Until removal, keep the wound dry and do not forcibly peel off the scab.
General
Are there any medications I need to stop taking before surgery?
Aspirin, anticoagulants, and some health supplements increase bleeding and should be stopped 1-2 weeks before surgery. Please inform us in advance of any medications you are taking, regardless of type.
